A working PC
1. Find a working PC.
2. Format a blank floppy disk and create a bootable floppy disk.
3. Remove the floppy drive from the computer.
4. Remove the hard drive from the computer. Draw the configuration of the master/slave jumpers below.
5. Install the floppy drive only.
6. Using a bootable floppy disk, boot the PC. Verify operation by performing various DOS commands to the floppy disk, such as "dir".
7. Install a 2nd hard drive. Set the 2nd hard drive to be a "slave".
8. Partition the 2nd drive into two drive letters. Format the two newly created partitions. BE CAREFUL THAT YOU ARE PARTITIONING AND FORMATTING THE 2nd HARD DRIVE.
9. Copy some files onto the 2nd hard drive.
10. Show an instructor that you installed the 2nd hard drive and added files to it.
